How to set your Credit Application Form to require references (Add Trade References)

You can customise your Credit Forms to require your customers to add Trade Reference(s) by following the steps below:

In Pencil -> Go to Settings -> Credit Forms -> Payment Terms Settings -> select the filter "Active" = Yes -> then click on the "More" button Under Actions on the right of each active payment term -> here you can add the number of Trade References there and Save.

In addition, you will also find other settings such as:

  • Personal Guarantors - this option will allow you to require personal guarantor(s) if you tick this option and you can also customise how many you require.
  • Directors - this option will allow you to require director(s) if you tick this option and you can also customise how many you require.
  • Director Drivers License Required - this option will allow you to director(s) to require uploading their driver's license if you tick this option and you can also customise how many you require.
