You can check your default payment duration settings in Pencil and edit according to your requirements.
You can check your payment plan settings in Pencil to make sure that the payment duration you you want to offer to your customer aligns with your current default payment plan settings.
Here are the steps to check your payment duration settings in Pencil:
1. Log in to Pencil admin.
2. Go to Settings -> Payment Plans -> Payment Plan Settings
Under Further Payments, you will find settings that you can toggle ON/OFF and specify the maximum number of days, weeks , months.If you are already logged in to Pencil, you may use this link: https://app.pencilpay.com/admin/payment_plan_settings, you will be able to view your Payment Plan Settings.
1. Daily
- If Daily is enabled, the system will display up to the maximum number of daily payments you wish to allow your customer to select.The minimum being 1 day. If you do not wish to enable Daily payments, set this to inactive (Toggle OFF).
2. Weekly
- If Weekly is enabled, the system will display up to the maximum number of Weekly payments you wish to allow your customer to select.
- The minimum being 1 Week.
- If you do not wish to enable Weekly payments, set this to inactive (Toggle OFF).
- If Fortnightly is enabled, the system will display up to the maximum number of Fortnightly payments you wish to allow your customer to select. The minimum being 1 Fortnight. If you do not wish to enable Fortnightly payments, set this to inactive (Toggle OFF).
4. Monthly
- If Monthly is enabled, the system will display up to the maximum number of Monthly payments you wish to allow your customer to select. The minimum being 1 Month. If you do not wish to enable Monthly payment, set this to inactive (Toggle OFF).
5. Quarterly
- If Quarterly is enabled, the system will display up to the maximum number of Quarterly payments you wish to allow your customer to select.The minimum being 1 Quarter. If you do not wish to enable Quarterly payment, set this to inactive (Toggle OFF).
