You many want to give more of your staff access to Pencil, but want to restrict what they see and can do. Follow these steps.
To edit the user permissions for each of your Supplier Users follow these steps:
- Log into Pencil with your Supplier Admin login (you will need this permission first).
- Go to Settings -> Supplier Users.
- Click on the "Permissions" icon under "Actions.
- Here you can uncheck/check the boxes for the sections you don't want that users to have access to.
- For sales reps, we recommend only having to following checked:
- Customers (all)
- Profile (Personal Details)
- Support
- Settings
- Security
- Supplier Users
- Save once updated. You can add additional permissions individually as required.
- You can also assign a user with Supplier Admin admin permissions by checking the "Is Supplier Admin" box and saving.
