My customer’s invoice didn’t auto-charge on the Due date as scheduled
You may encounter a scenario where your customer's invoice(s) didn't auto-charge.
There are a few things that you can check in Pencil to identify the reason why the invoice(s) did not auto-charge. Here are the possible scenarios why the invoice(s) did not auto-charge
1. The "Due Date" of the invoice is earlier than the "Date Imported"
- Go to Invoices → Search for the invoice → Check the Due date of the invoice → Check the "Due Date" of the invoice → Check the "Date Imported" → If the "Date Imported" is different from the "Due Date" of the invoice,
- When this happens, the invoice will auto-charge the following day. If your auto-charge settings for "Enable charging during the weekend" is OFF, and the following day(s) fall on a weekend, the auto-charge will happen on the next weekday (eg. Monday).
