Where can I find the reset failed payment attempts if it is not showing in Pencil → Customers?

You may encounter a scenario where you are not able to find the Reset failed payment attempts feature in Pencil → Customers → More Actions (...) after your customer encountered multiple failed payments.

If you are using Cin7 as your inventory software and you take payments via invoice/quote/ sale order, you may also reset the failed payment attempts in Sales Orders → Actions (...) → Reset Failed Payment Attempts

If you have reached out to your customer and they have confirmed they have sufficient funds, you can re-attempt and charge the customer after you have reset the failed payment attempts.

Before you reset failed payment attempts in the future for your customer, it is always a good practice to ask if they have sufficient funds to prevent future additional failed payment attempts.
