Where to find my Email Notifications (Notification Receiver) Settings in Pencil?

If you wish to configure settings for who receives notifications, you can check the notification receiver settings in Pencil.

There are three different Notification Receivers Settings in Pencil:

1. Notification Receivers for Credit Forms

2. Notification Receivers for Invoice/Sale Payments

3. Notification Receivers for Payment Plans

We will add these related users to the notification receivers list based on the settings that you have set.
  1. Account Contacts
  2. Authorised Representatives
  3. Directors
  4. Manual Receivers who is added manually and not linked to an user account in Pencil
  5. Personal Guarantors
  6. Invoice/Sale Billing Contacts

Notification Receivers for Credit Forms

Go to Settings → Credit Forms → Notification Receiver Settings

You can tick/un-tick the checkbox depending on who you would like to receive notifications and hit "Save".


Notification Receivers for Invoice/Sale Payments
There are different configuration options for which users receive email notifications related to Invoices and Collections.
You have the flexibility to set which certain users within Pencil can automatically receive notifications related to Pencil's Invoices and Collections workflows.

To review and update these settings:

Log in to Pencil → go to Settings →Invoices and Collections → Notification Receiver Settings

Here you can update the following settings for these related users will receive notifications

  • Account Contacts → this setting is ON by default
  • Authorised Representatives → this setting is OFF by default
  • Directors-> this setting is OFF by default
  • Manual Receivers who is added manually and not linked to an user account in Pencil→ this setting is ON by default
  • Personal Guarantors→ this setting is OFF by default
  • Invoice/Sale Billing Contacts→ this setting is ON by default

Notification Receivers for Payment Plans

Go to Settings → Payment Plans  → Notification Receiver Settings

You can tick/un-tick the checkbox depending on who you would like to receive notifications and hit "Save".
